This was probably the most sentimental and monumental (seriously, not trying to make a pun) concert in my life. Fall Out Boy was my gateway band, without them I’m not sure where I would be in life and in my music experiences. Paramore held me up during my horrible early middle school days, and they were an extremely powerful force in my life.
So since seeing Paramore back in 2010(??? before Josh and Zac left), a lot has changed in my life. I went with my then best friend in the entire world, who loved them way more than me. This was also my first real concert (general admission, seeing a band a truly looked up to, etc).
And since I’m a total sentimental asshole, I was feeling extremely nostalgic during their set. Especially during Pressure and Brick by Boring Brick.
FOB was a totally different story. I went hard and got all of my preteen whatever out. It was an amazing experience and I love Fall Out Boy forever and ever and I’ll support whatever they do unless they break up.
So yeah it was amazing and they both put on an amazing show and even though I don’t feel the same way about Paramore, they still fucking rock.
Hayley Williams is still queen.
